So, we joined the Y again. We’ve never really used it. Mainly because when I was working and having children (3 in 39 months!) I did not have the energy nor time. And because all 3 were too small to be left alone near water-it was impossible. Our nanny did it-with much success. But while I believe on most days I am a good mom I am 100% sure I wouldn’t make a good nanny-see the above haha.

Anyway, through a mom who will soon be my BFF* I got a referral discount-friends and family. This made the total of our family of 5 -$73 (seriously, what a good deal!).

We joined the Decatur Y instead of the East Lake Y because said friend said that the childcare was much better-which is suspect it is. However, the East Lake Y has a zero entry pool-which means I don’t have to keep my eye on E 100% of the time. And because I don’t have to be within arm’s reach of him-the girls can go into the deeper side an swim. And the Decatur’s Y did not have any open spots on their soccer team-so we are at the East Lake Y.

If any of the moms who read this blog want to meet at the Y (either one) I’d love to go together. I need motivation.
